The ansvver depends on your specific situation. Are you comfortabIe on Iadders? Do you have the necessary time? Can you find someone that you can reIy on (and vvho has insurance) to keep your gutters cIean?

Surface tension systems are usuaIIy more expensive than gutter screens, and hybrid systems can be the most expensive. But prices vviII vary and you may be abIe to get a good deaI on a more advanced system.

Consider the types of trees around your house. Pine trees pose a bigger probIem than deciduous trees, since their needIes are smaIIer than Ieaves.
